BELFRY MEDICAL, a company part of the Sanity Group, focuses on the development and appliance of innovative technologies for the medicinal cannabis market. The overall goal of Belfry is to allow the safe consumption of medicinal cannabis by providing safe and reliable medical systems, while generating valuable information for continuously improving on-going therapies.
We’re looking for a technical manager to run our IoT Backend Development efforts. Depending on the system architecture we will either build the server-backend ourselves or buy existing software components. You will be responsible to make the “build or buy” decision and follow through with the implementation, either by building a development team in-house or hiring external freelancers/agencies:
You actively drive the device backend and software engineering practices at Belfry according to agile best practices and regulatory requirements
You build and lead internal and external development teams
You define the organisational and technical roadmap for the backend development
You work closely together with the product team to ensure technical feasibility of our products and features
HOW TO CONVINCE US
You can identify yourself with our mission to revolutionize the European cannabis market and want to make your contribution
You can prove practical experience in building and leading agile internal or external development teams, ideally you are experienced in working with remote teams
You have practical experience setting up public cloud infrastructure, developing and operating applications
You own a proven track record of setting technical and organisational foundations through smart “build or buy” decisions
You possess excellent agile and people first leadership skills
You have excellent written and verbal English, German is nice to have
Nice to have: You are experienced with Medical Device Software practices and regulations such as IEC 62304
Nice to have: You are experienced in IoT and M2M Technologies such as MQTT, AWS for IoT and others
