As a (Senior) Data Strategy Consultant (f/d/m) you will play a key role in analysing and providing data-driven insights to enable informed business decisions. Your focus in Operations will be on supporting our Sourcing and Supply Chain team by developing data-based analyses and recommendations to optimise the efficiency and strategic alignment of our supplier decisions. With your analytical skills and deep understanding of the business, you will significantly contribute to establishing data-driven processes and developing sustainable growth strategies. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement data-driven solutions across different business units.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Strategy & Consulting
- Development and implementation of data-driven business strategies.
- Analysing market and competitor data as well as competitor products to identify business potential.
- Providing analytical insights for decision-making on portfolio mix and for our sourcing team to optimise supplier decisions based on data.
- Data Analysis & Modeling
- Performing complex data analyses to derive strategic recommendations.
- Developing and implementing forecasting models and algorithms.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity in all projects.
- Project Management & Implementation
- Leading projects to implement data-driven solutions.
- Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Training and supporting users in the use of new data solutions.
- Innovation & Development
- Monitoring current market trends and best practices in the field of data analytics.
- Developing innovative approaches to optimise business processes.
- Actively shaping our internal knowledge base and methodology.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- A degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Management, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a strategic consulting function.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus).
- Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data analyses into strategic recommendations.
- Experience in creating dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex relationships in an understandable way.
- Experience working with stakeholders across different business areas.
- Fluency in English, ideally also in German.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in a hyper-growth start-up or strategy consultancy.
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
- Experience in the implementation and use of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
